SOF Spoken was created in 2013 by a retired Navy SEAL and author of The Trident.
Jason Redman served 15 years with the SEAL Teams as an Officer and enlisted member before being severely wounded in a firefight in Iraq in 2007. Despite a four year recovery, he committed to finish his career retiring after 21 years.
He founded SOF Spoken after retiring with the idea of sharing Special Operations Forces abilities as leaders, team builders, communicators, and adversity crushers and to take these lessons learned in peacetime and combat and make them relatable and applicable to businesses and individuals.
SOF Spoken is built on the idea that leadership is forged by experience in the most difficult moments, hence the SOF Spoken motto - Forged by Fire, Excellence through adversity. Topics addressed and tailored specific to the audience are the Overcome Mindset, Leadership, Teamwork, Decision making, Mission Process, Crisis Management, Success through change, and finding balance.
