Sofios Consulting Engineers S.A was founded by Tasos Sofios in September 2004, aiming at the preparation of studies and the provision of consultant services in the construction of infrastructure projects in the area of Hydraulic and Geotechnical Engineering.
The goal of the office formation was the creation of an experienced, flexible and dynamic group, using the most modern, efficient and certified, available internationally hardware and software equipment, at the time being with a quality control certificate that assures the timely and reliable writing of the completed study, as well as the consulting for design during the construction of each relevant project, focusing on dams, pump storage works, small hydroelectric plants, hybrid, drainage and flood protection works, land improvement works and water supply projects.
