About Sofrimar

Sofrimar was created in 1979 and from a complement of three, it has developed into one of the main employer in the region. Through significant investment in technology, we have created an innovative, modern plant, just minutes from the harbour at Kilmore Quay, the home of scallop fishing in Ireland. With over 70 fishing vessels landing their catches at the quay, and at neighbouring ports along the east coast, we offer a constant supply of pure, natural seafood.
