Software for Science is a research group doing research and developing applications for scientific experiments. Software for Science is part of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Our first assignment is doing research on load balancing for the ALICE detector of CERN. From 2020 onward ALICE is producing more than 1 TB/s which has to be sorted out in such a way that all the data produced within a certain time frame is put together.
