Software Team has been in the Digital Healthcare industry since 1989 and, since 2010 has been primarily concerned with clinical alarm management systems (Alarms System Management).
The product currently on the market, SmartLink, is able to acquire data from bedside devices (monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators...) and mobile devices (telemetry, pulse oximeters...).
The collected data are made available to healthcare providers in real time on different media: computer (Main Alarm Station), smartphone (SmartPager), wall panels (SmartPanel).
SmartLink operates so that device alarms are transmitted to health care providers only when clinical intervention is necessary (actionable alarms).
Nursing staff, depending on the type of alarm and based on the real-time data it displays on the smartphone, are thus able to take charge of the alarm themselves or, depending on the criticality level of the event, request intervention from colleagues or physicians.
SmartLink is able to transmit the entire data set from the devices to the medical record or any other system that performs further data processing (statistical systems, predictive analytics, expert systems...).
SmartLink is certified as Class IIb CE Medical Device (EU 93/42 MD Directive).
Software Team distributes SmartLink in all countries that adhere to EU medical device regulations. Currently SmartLink is in use in more than 200 hospital facilities in Europe, Israel, and South America.
