We are a Canadian software company that strives to develop affordable solutions that empower anyone to create. One of our products is 001 Game Creator, a tool for game and app development. It is used by small independent developers in over 100 countries and by STEM educators around the world. SoftWeir Inc. was founded in 2012 by Mike Weir, a passionate game developer who wanted to create a platform that enables anyone to make games and apps without prior coding experience. He launched 001 Game Creator in 2006 as his first product, which quickly gained popularity among hobbyists and educators. Since then, SoftWeir Inc. has grown to a small team of dedicated international developers and artists who share Mike’s vision and values. We have partnered with Humble Bundle and other developers to raise over $435,000+ to charitable causes including Child’s Play, Extra Life, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Movember and AbleGamers. Giving back and supporting worthy causes is a common belief we continue to hold and expand as we grow.
