Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC) is a government agency under the Ministry of Trade & Industry Sabah. SOGDC was established on August 2010 to acts as a purpose vehicle company to own, develop, manage and market an area of approximately 1,600ha / 4,065 acres in Mengalong, Sipitang District to be known as Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP). SOGIP is an integrated industrial park focusing on downstream petrochemicals and other heavy industry. It is geared to attract new investment to Sabah State and create job opportunities through its industrial clustering.
