Since founding the company 40 years ago, Bob Mahony, a registered civil and geotechnical engineer, has built an organization prepared to tackle a wide assortment of geotechnical challenges. SEC is a diversified geotechnical construction firm specializing in seawalls and retaining walls, as well as, slope and foundation stabilization systems. Our approach is to work closely with our clients and their consultants to optimize the constructability and cost effectiveness of each project. The firm operates on the principal that the obvious solution is not always the most cost-efficient or best engineering solution. SEC maintains 10-15 fully equipped construction crews and a professional staff of registered geotechnical and civil engineers, in addition to, state certified geologists and engineering geologists. We can provide a host of specialized geotechnical construction techniques and the specialized equipment for their application.
