Sokai Fund is a private Amsterdam based impact investment fund with a strong focus on impact investing in emerging markets. Working with institutions such as Pension funds, Insurance companies, Banks and Family Offices. Sokai Fund will aid and guide investor's investment belief into a substantial impact investment with a focus on creating a financial return while adding social benefits and where possible align it with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We will provide growth capital and post-investment mentorship to small-medium size enterprises (SMEs) that have the social impact as well as the potential for growth. In addition to the financial returns, each investment will be monitored for their measurable social and environmental impact. Our initial investment focus in Nepal. Objective The fund seeks to create a Nepalese portfolio of differentiated, niche private equity funds that have an integrated, theme-based impact focus, offering compelling financial returns to investors as well as a positive impact on society.
