Sol Orchard, LLC is an Independent Power Producer located and focused on California's rural areas. Sol Orchard specializes in photovoltaic, grid-connected, solar micro-utility electrical generating plants of 1 to 20 megawatt capacity. Sol Orchard works with farmers, public agencies and private, non-profit entities under exclusive, Right to Negotiate agreements. Sol Orchard offers a unique deal structure which includes a revenue sharing agreement. Sol Orchard currently has 3 projects totaling 21 megawatts which it plans to bring online between July 2009 and December 2010. Solar energy is free, limitless and produces no atmospheric or greenhouse emissions. Therefore, solar power generation provides a stable, sustainable, reliable source of electricity.
