Solabs Nanotechnology is the first durable, sunlight-driven antifog coating. In contrast to all existing antifog solutions which have to be the topmost layer, Solabs can be integrated beneath any existing layers, rendering it completely protected and durable. The nanoscopically thin coating selectively absorbs near-infrared radiation from sunlight, which makes up nearly half of the solar energy and is invisible to the human eye. Simultaneously, the coating retains transparency in the visible regime.
