SOLACFIN

The Latin American Society of Actuarial Sciences and Quantitative Finance–SOLACFIN (Sociedad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Actuariales y Finanzas Cuantitativas) is a legal entity of private law, institution of common utility and non-profit. The purpose of SOLACFIN will be the establishment of all types of relationships between its members and other natural and legal persons that have an interest related to “Actuarial Science and Quantitative Finance” in Latin America and the Caribbean. Among SOLACFIN activities is the organization of ICASQF (International Congress on Actuarial Science and Quantitative Finance). Members with the capacity to act who have an interest in the development of the Association’s purposes may belong to the Association. They can be effective associates: 1)Mathematicians, Statisticians, Engineers and Economists and university professors of Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics. 2)People with a university degree who develop a scientific work closely related to quantitative finance or actuarial sciences. Students who have passed the third year of undergraduate university studies or graduate students who have the quality of students and who develop study, research or professional activities in the areas of actuarial sciences and quantitative finance can be adjoint associates, as well as institutions can be institutional associates. Membership gives the right to attend without cost to ICASQF.
