Solana is a modern tomato factory with a processing capacity of 3,500 tons per day located in the Po Valley in northern Italy district, using 100 % ITALIAN TOMATOES.
The company was founded in 2001, covers 135,000 sqm and have a built area of about 22.000 sqm.
It has been designed in order to optimize the hygiene and the process control: the advanced technologies adopted and the selection for raw material brought Solana to achieve the best quality standards and to satisfy the higher quality requested from the market.
Solana entered in 2011 the food service with the production of the aseptic tomato products, wich is delivered to B2B market and HO.RE.CA market : an innovative processing technology that combine special sizing and electronical sorting with ohmic pasteurization and aseptic cold filling established new quality standard for this product category since it’s a unique way to obtain premium quality product that has been recognized by the market.
