Our goal is to establish a sustainable ammonia production plant in the region of Antofagasta, Chile, based on green hydrogen, with one of the lowest levelized costs of ammonia (LCOA) worldwide, primarily aimed for export to European and Asian markets:
- Harnessing the world’s best solar resource to its full potential, in a democratic country with a long cooperation tradition with Germany/Europe/Asia
- Optimizing the locations of production plants within an industrial park
- Using existing infrastructure and optimizing the shared use of local infrastructure to leverage supply chain synergies on world class best practice level
- Optimizing renewable energy supply for the entire production process
- Optimizing transport and storage facilities
- Contributing to the forecasted strong increase of green Ammonia demand following climate change slow down obligations of the countries.
- Optimizing secured revenue streams and financing applying de-risking strategies and the sale of by-products (carbon financing, oxygen, energy surplus, etc).
