As the effects of climate change continue to threaten the sustainability of our planet’s fragile ecosystem, we have embarked on a mission to improve our well-being, mimicking the natural shape of energy. Solar Botanic is a renewable energy startup proposes a new way to solve environmental problems, using a leaf-shaped technology. The companies' main product, the groundbreaking Energy Tree, allows us to produce electricity by harnessing solar and wind energy with an unprecedented level of efficiency. In 2008, when Solar Botanic was founded, we became the first company to introduce a new dimension of cost reduction by combining two energy resources, into one system based on natures' design - biomimicry. In collaboration with the prestigious engineering department of London’s Brunel University, we have transformed an ambitious vision into a reality. The overwhelming success of the Energy Tree’s proof of concept has paved the way for a final step of research and development.
