In the age of sustainability, most architects still view energy in buildings mainly as a limitation rather than an opportunity. Many of the new technological possibilities and integration potentials of solar energy are not yet widely known or applied in current design practices due to perceived barriers. However, there are now innovative technologies and inspiring solar architecture projects. Our main goal is to encourage the construction of solar buildings by shifting the focus from technology to architecture. Through real examples and success stories, it shows that solar buildings can achieve high standards of aesthetics, construction technology and sustainability. SOLARCHITECTURE aims to inspire both architects and clients to embrace new building concepts.
