Solasense was acquired by Expro in March 2022. This requires three things: 1. Portable, robust and affordable DTS and DAS units. 2. Simple to use, real-time DAS and DTS data processing and visualisation software that enables decision making at the wellsite. 3. Efficient means of fibre deployment for surveys. We believe that the full value that DTS and DAS logging can bring will only be realised once all three of these service elements are in place. SolaSense have created the first user friendly software product available to the market that allows you to intelligently view your DTS and DAS data alongside multiple types of other data from your wells. We support multiple data formats from multiple vendors. SolaSense have formed a partnership with a Globally established manufacturer of robust, portable and easy to use DTS and DAS units that combine with the SolaSense software to enable you to run your surveys yourself if you so wish. Combined with the affordable and low-footprint fibre deployment technologies that are now available, the time for distributed fibre optic sensing to move from a high-end specialist service to routine surveillance product has arrived.
