$SOL FUND 001 is a Web 3-focused venture fund raising, holding, and investing using $SOL—the cryptocurrency native to the Solana blockchain.
OBJECTIVE:
The goal of this fund is to maximize returns to investors (>100x), onboard more investors into cryptocurrency, and offer investors access to Web 3 startups, all without sacrificing upside as $SOL appreciates over time. The investments will be made/received in $SOL, so when $SOL increases in value, so does the value of the fund. We will also allocate funds using $SOL, sending them directly to the company’s founders' wallets. This will result in faster transfers, fewer fees, and less wasted time/energy than traditional wire-payment investments.
STRATEGY:
Leveraging existing connections and deep relationships within the Solana ecosystem, we will source and perform due diligence on over 1,000 companies in the first 12 months. We’ll invest in 100 of them with at least a 5% stake. The companies must have a Web 3 product built on Solana, such as a marketplace, exchange, DeFi protocol, or wallet. We believe our involvement and support will be crucial to a project or startup's success. When needed, we can help teams with operations, technical expertise, fundraising, recruiting/hiring, and more.
NFT SALE:
The majority of the fund will be raised through an NFT sale at SolFund001.com. Investors will have the option to purchase one of several NFTs which will represent their investment in the fund. Once the fund closes, the NFT will be converted to a percentage value of the fund, which can then be traded on an approved exchange. SF1 NFT holders will be airdropped an additional 1:1 personalized NFT as a representation of their support for the fund. NFT holders also have access to the Alpha Discord, future airdrops, double-dipping opportunities, and pitch privileges!
