Professor Janusz Pawliszyn is the inventor of solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and Capillary isoelectric focusing with whole-column imaging detection (icIEF). Our research team is dedicated to advancing green analytical solutions. The research topic including: sample preparation (SPME, needle trap), separation and detection (GC/LC-MS, direct/ambient MS, ion mobility-MS, icIEF, fluorescence and Raman detector) and their related applications in biological, food, environmental, pharmaceutical and forensic analysis.
