About Solo Sandeng Foundation
The Solo Sandeng Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting democracy, human rights, and social justice in The Gambia and beyond. The foundation was named after Solo Sandeng, a Gambian political activist who was arrested and killed in 2016 for protesting against draconian electoral laws by the regime of ex president Yahya Jammeh. The foundation works to continue Solo Sandeng's legacy of standing up for justice, civil and political freedom and striving for a better future for all Gambians.
