"Solodko", the Ukrainian word for sweet, was founded in 2019 by Ilona Znakharchuk during her sophomore year at Boston College. After visiting Ukraine, her native country, she noticed a huge deficit in the availability of visually appealing yet simultaneously delicious desserts within the Greater Boston area. In 2020, Ilona's sister Irina joined the team and they began to expand their business beyond the Boston College campus. Over the course of the past 3 years, their mission was simple. Dessert should be edible art: exquisite in appearance, delicious in taste. Welcome to Solodko, where life becomes sweet!
