Solthis

Solthis (Therapeutic Solidarity & Initiatives for Health) is an international health NGO. Founded in 2003 by physician-researchers, Solthis helps improve health for all in resource-limited settings by strenghtening national health systems on the long-term. We work to improve access to care and prevention, especially in the management of infectious diseases (HIV/AIDS...), for maternal and child health and for sexual and reproductive health. Through our actions of capacity building (training, organizational consulting, technical assistance), research and advocacy, we aim at strengthening the health systems’ components: human resources, health services, health products and pharmaceutical system, laboratories, health information system, governance and financing. We always act according to the principle of non-substitution to support existing health structures. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Solthis (Solidarité Thérapeutique et Initiatives pour la Santé) est une ONG de solidarité internationale en santé. Créée en 2003 par des médecins-chercheurs, Solthis contribue à améliorer la santé pour tou.te.s en Afrique de l’Ouest et Centrale en aidant à renforcer durablement les systèmes de santé. Nous intervenons pour améliorer l'accès aux soins et la prévention, principalement dans la prise en charge des maladies infectieuses (VIH/sida, ...), sur les enjeux de Santé materno-infantile et de Santé Sexuelle et Reproductive. Grâce à nos actions de renforcement de capacité (formation, conseil en organisation, assistance technique), de recherche et de plaidoyer, nous renforçons les composantes des systèmes de santé : ressources humaines, services de santé, produits de santé et système pharmaceutique, laboratoires, système d'information sanitaire, gouvernance et financement. Nous agissons toujours selon le principe de non-substitution pour accompagner les structures de santé existantes.
