We Oversee the implementation and enforcement of data protection Act. Law No 005 0f 2023, within the country. Monitor and evaluate the privacy practices of data controllers and processors operating in Somalia. We Promote awareness and understanding of data protection rights and responsibilities among the Somali public, businesses, and government entities. Conduct educational campaigns and provide resources to enhance data privacy literacy. We Monitor and enforce security measures to protect personal data processed within Somalia. We Establish protocols for responding to data breaches, including notification requirements and remediation measures. We Conduct periodic audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to data protection Act in Somalia.
