Somalta came to be quite organically. The name combines 3 words from Latin and Greek. Literally translates as; In bodily form to grow, to elevate, to nourish. The services at Somalta Wellness are procured to restore the body’s innate healing ability. Ambiance paired will skilled bodywork alleviates daily stress, chronic pain and fatigue. Each experience is guided with the intention that with deep rest our greatest potential is achievable. Somalta Wellness is a trauma informed practice. Trauma Informed Care is an approach based on the knowledge of the impact of trauma. By acknowledging the affects of trauma, physically, psychologically and emotionally we can ensure an environment that provides a feeling of safety, control and empowerment.
