Somangest

In 1991 Somangest became the first portfolio management company to be accredited by the Commission des Opérations de Bourse (French Securities and Exchange Commission) for the management of the assets of private individuals within the scope of management mandates. The company has grown, going through two initial development phases, and has just started a third. - The first phase was launched in 1991 by Jacques PAILLOUX. With the benefit of a long and substantial experience in portfolio management within well-known banking institutions, he set up SOMANGEST and successfully rose to the challenge of independent management, thanks mainly to the loyalty of his client base. With the same pioneering spirit and the same conviction, André GIRA established VESIGEST in June 1991, a company that would go on to experience success in every way comparable to that of SOMANGEST. Such similar backgrounds and goals could only encourage the two companies to pool their talents and their resources. - This was achieved in 1998 by the acquisition of VESIGEST by SOMANGEST. The company then embarked on a second development phase and became one of the leading companies in corporate portfolio management. - Everything is therefore in place for the third phase, which will see the company grow through the establishment of OPCVM (UCITS) and the creation of an institutional department. The third phase also involves an increase in resources aimed at internal control, ethics and quality in client reporting.
