Somap International Pte Ltd was formed in Singapore in 1997 as a Shipping and trading company, primarily to deal in old ships for recycling. Since then, we have gone on to recycle over 1400 ships to become one of the global leading cash buyer in the industry with access to yards in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China and Turkey working with some of the world's largest shipowners internationally. We have our own dedicated operations team to take both as is and delivered vessels with traders, associates and financing done internationally.
