Hello and thank you for visiting Somerstime on Linked in. I am Nicky Somers, Proprietor and prior to starting Somerstime I gained over twenty years of administrative and secretarial experience in various different environments. Specifically, I have: • Experience in running businesses on behalf of other people, gained during eight years as Operations Manager for a Yacht Charter Company and two years as Business Centre Manager for a Business Centre; • Experience in organisational and personal development, partnership working and organisational change, gained during two years in Senior Management within the NHS; • Highly developed skills in proof reading, spelling, grammar and written expression, gained whilst working as an Executive PA in London; • Advanced skills in word processing and formatting (as above); • Extensive experience in marketing and selling acquired during eight years running a Yacht Charter Company and two years running a Business Centre; • A high level of proficiency in all areas of office support, which has been gained throughout my career. My greatest strengths are honesty and integrity. I will not undertake a task unless I know I can meet the deadlines and meet or exceed my customer’s expectations. I have a strong work ethic and always take personal accountability for and pride in my business and any work that I undertake. I am both creative and diligent and totally understand the importance of trust and open-mindedness.
