Founded by Tom “El RastaSalsa” Ogunribido, Somos was built to make Afro-Latin dance accessible to everyone, regardless of experience, background, or body type. Based in Aurora, CO, our studio offers a full range of Salsa, Bachata, and Mambo classes, from absolute beginner to advanced levels, as well as specialized courses in body movement and technique. Every class is carefully designed with both structure and soul—providing students with the tools to grow their skills while staying grounded in joy, presence, and cultural appreciation. With over 20 years of experience in music and dance, Tom combines his musical expertise, engineering mindset, and empathetic teaching style to deliver a learning experience like no other.
