The Sontag Innovation Fund, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Sontag Foundation, is a new, independent venture philanthropy fund. Drawing on the experience and rich network of the Sontag Foundation, the Fund focuses on early-stage investment opportunities with the ability to materially accelerate the development of therapeutics or technology to diagnose, treat, prevent and cure brain cancer.
The aim of the Fund is to provide capital critical to de-risking and positioning nascent technologies for subsequent follow-on funding to accelerate solutions to change the standard of care for brain cancer. All fund returns are redeployed by the Sontag Foundation to further its mission in brain cancer.
