Soph talks science was founded by award-winning science communicator Sophie Milbourne. Soph completed her PhD at the University of Southampton studying how stem cells maintain their pluripotent identity. During this time, she found a passion for science communication starting with a blog and sharing photos and videos on Instagram, and since has become well known for digital science communication and engagement.
Soph is passionate about not only sharing new and exciting science with the world, but also ensuring that scientists have the skills and confidence to communicate their research too. Soph runs a range of science communication training workshops, is a sought after speaker for events and radio appearances, provides consultancy services to support researchers with science communication and engagement activities, as well as producing a range of content for social media, podcasts and video.
