Sophie Games is an independent game developer that focuses on creating competitive, accessible, free-to-play strategy games. While we're based in Argentina, we work in continuous engagement and cooperation with a fast-growing global community. Our passion, dedication, and a well-planned roadmap come together in a development cycle that makes our titles better almost by the day. Two elements define the soul of Sophie Games’ design philosophy; Our first hallmark is a careful balance of authenticity and simplicity. Instead of demanding you memorize statlines, we reward fundamentals like positioning, movement, and coordination. We aim to make games anyone can pick up and start playing, with an underlying depth that keeps players hooked. This easy-to-learn, hard-to-master philosophy goes hand in hand with Sophie Games’ second hallmark, a unique simultaneous turn system. Each player has a few minutes to think and issue orders, at which point the action unfolds all at once. Players experience the careful deliberation and the unpredictable chaos of command, feeling like a real general. We have a detailed plan to build Lines of Battle into one the best line warfare games on the market, and when that’s complete, we have systems and concepts in place to extend our game system into the present, the distant past, the far future, and even into high fantasy.
