We rent it out on an exclusive use basis so you can decide what you want to have and where you want to have it – to make it your unique wedding day. We will provide the venue but for all the other parts of the wedding that is up to you – we don’t have ‘packages’ as each wedding is unique. We know some wonderful caterers, florists, photographers etc, whose details we can send to you, but ultimately we want to provide you with a stunning venue and you can then organise the wedding that will best suit you – whether you want a simple BBQ or a full sit down dinner. Our aim is to provide a stunning location which is as flexible as possible. For example we don’t charge corkage on any drinks you want to provide yourself or you can use Tom’s Bespoke Bartending Company who will run a pay-bar if you need one.
Sopley Mill isn’t just for perfect for weddings – it is also ideal for any private party or event where you want your own private venue. The Mill is ideally set on a 1000 sqm island surrounded on both sides by the Avon River. The lawn has stunning views across the wild flower water-meadows and is the perfect venue for your event. This beautiful building still has the stunning original features of the watermill with its oak beams and is securely fenced in case you have any children attending. The wild location is stunning and completely private without a house in view – and just 10 minutes from Christchurch and Bournemouth.
