Just as in nature, everyone involved plays a key role in the process--seed companies (suppliers) , local traders (whom we call "aggregators"), and African farmers, 80% of whom are women, all contribute to strengthening this ecosystem. But how do we ensure that this ecosystem thrives? Through our blockchain-based platform, we guarantee that each seed reaches the right hands at the right time. Large seed companies sell their seeds to aggregators, who then distribute them to farmers through accessible credit systems, allowing them to plant without financial barriers. Once the harvest is ready, the credits are repaid, creating a cycle of regeneration and sustainability. This process also enables aggregators to test and position the best-performing seeds in the market, ensuring that the strongest and most resilient varieties continue to take root and flourish. At SOS Labs, farmers gain access to quality seeds, aggregators strengthen their role in the market, and seed companies expand their reach into new, sustainable supply chains.
