Our mission is to foster a healthier Monroe County, FL community by increasing equitable food access through food distribution, food recovery, and nutrition education. By way of two client-choice food pantries, multiple fresh and frozen meal programs via our Community Kitchen, and extensive nutrition and agriculture education programming, SOS serves more than 10,000 families in need every year. Our brand new Eco Farm, consisting of 60 hydroponic towers, grows fresh greens, vegetables, and herbs to supplement each of our services, in partnership with the MARC House.
