SOSVA

SOSVA, Society for Services to Voluntary Agencies, was established in 1984 by a group of visionaries committed to building a strong voluntary sector that would assure a just, social and economic order. As a support service organisation, SOSVA works to strengthen numerous field level NGOs. It promotes new NGOs and helps expand activities of existing ones in all areas of social and economic development. It assists NGOs in identifying projects, helps them in project preparation, securing grants from national and international agencies including the Government, guides them in implementation of projects and evaluates their working. It aims to create institutions providing these and similar important services to the voluntary sector and advocates reform in the policy environment concerning NGOs.
