Sothis Films is an independent production company dedicated to telling bold, intimate, and culturally rooted stories that center BIPOC voices and underrepresented narratives across the globe. Our debut documentary, Your Pain Was Born Here, is a love letter to the Black diaspora, following a journey across five European countries to explore identity beyond borders. It’s not just a film, but a call to connect, reflect, and reclaim. At Sothis Films, we believe storytelling is a powerful tool for truth, connection, and transformation.
