Based on the potentials of Balouchi embroidery and contemporary art, Suchen Studio designs practical products and provides artistic and cultural services. Through entrepreneurship and creating a value chain between clusters of social capital (Balouchi needleworkers on the one hand and designers and artists on the other), Suchen seeks to create products and opportunities that give a spirit of novelty and originality to the life of those consumers who care about creativity and authenticity. Among the objectives of Suchen Studio are providing a thorough presentation of Balouchi needlework art and culture, creating a unique place for it in the field of design, demonstrating the prowess of design through the coexistence of this indigenous technique with a contemporary and modern perspective, inviting people to an original and honest lifestyle, making a systematic effort to empower Balouchi artists and Balouchi women, and improving their economic and social status. Suchen is a coexistence of contradictions, a narrative of the past and the present, a coexistence of indigenous style and a contemporary approach, a fluid creative way of thinking, and a genuine and principled way of action, and a simultaneously strange and familiar form. Through study, education, participation, and design, the studio creates products and provides services, all of which are exercises in fulfilling such superior missions as sustainable living, social equality, and creating opportunities, as well as creating value rising from art and creativity.
