Playing well cannot be quantified by numbers on a scorecard. It’s not determined by stats on driving distance or greens in regulation. Playing well is in the happiness that comes from being outdoors, doing something you love, with likeminded people. Because golf is a game, and our mission is to reconnect with the essence of that game. Whether you’re striding out on the linksland for a long-planned trip with friends, getting up at dawn for a weekend tee-time, sneaking out of work early for a few holes on a summer evening, or messing about on the local pitch & putt with your kids – wherever and however the game is played. We don’t promise that Sounder products will help you play like the pros. The word amateur derives from the Latin verb amare – to love. As amateurs, we all play for the love of the game. Our successes are not measured against par, in prize money or by endorsement contracts. They are achieved through simpler pleasures – the escape, the shared experience, the joy in waiting for the shots to come. Somehow, sometime, somewhere along the line, golf got very complicated. Sounder is here to remind us why we all fell in love with the game – how it feels, rather than how many; the fun of playing, really playing. Golf is a game that can’t be won, only played.
