The service of sound-based respiratory health monitoring has been launched commercially for fattening pig barns. Sound is recorded 24h/7d in the barn, intelligent sound analysis algorithms automatically count the number of coughs continuously from these recordings, and early alerts are raised to the farmer and/or veterinarian in case potential respiratory diseases develop in the pig barn.
SoundTalks solutions are cloud-based, which allows intelligent, personalized warning systems, the aggregation of data, and excellent customer service. Besides fattening pigs, SoundTalks is also developing products for other markets, with the first extension towards piglets and poultry.
