It will take place for the 22nd time in 2025. SoundTrack_Cologne is a film event - from the music perspective. The event addresses business professionals, music students, and everyone interested in film and music. When it comes to film narratives, SoundTrack_Cologne aims to give its audience a diverse and versatile experience of music and sound. Judicial, economic, and aesthetic work conditions of film composers in a global market stand at the forefront, whereas a dialogue is established between the various film trades in workshops, workshop talks, case studies, and panel discussions by experienced and established film composers to pass on their knowledge to the next generation. With competitions such as the European Talent Competition and Peer Raben Music Award, SoundTrack_Cologne aims to appeal to the younger generation of composers and sound designers. With AcadeMeet, SoundTrack_Cologne also hosts events for the European universities and education institutions.
