Sourced CPG

Sourced is a woman-owned startup in food manufacturing consulting. Founder Alex Farquharson started with a background in food science and technology, and a love of innovative food products. After working for two years in product development, she began working on the commercialization side of the CPG industry, specifically focusing on the contract manufacturing side. Working with brands ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies gave Alex insight into the specific struggles small businesses face when launching a new food or beverage brand. After working for almost 5 years as a contractor, Alex decided to scratch her entrepreneurial itch and leverage her knowledge and experience working with a wide range of companies to support other self-starters, creating Sourced CPG. Sourced’s goal is to support womxn- and minority-owned small food brand businesses and give other like-minded individuals the opportunity to take more control over their future.
