South East Grid for Learning (SEGfL)

SEGfL, a Regional Broadband Consortium (RBC) serving 11 member local authorities across the South East, is one of England's largest RBCs, representing nearly 2,500 schools. We specialise in aggregated procurement to save Local Authorities and schools money. Through regional agreements and Frameworks, we provide cost-effective ICT services, cloud solutions, and educational resources. Our schools benefit from a secure private connection to the UK Research and Academic Network (Janet) through Jisc, accessing high-capacity networks and services. As an active member of NEN (The Education Network), SEGfL schools have access to a wealth of teaching and learning resources, including copyright-free images and materials from institutions like the BBC and British Library. We also contribute to NEN working groups, providing expertise in online safety and technical strategy for the benefit of our region.
