Southern Commercial Development is a family owned company founded in 2008 and operating throughout the Southeast and certified in South Carolina as a WBE (Woman Owned Business). Originally founded as a commercial real estate and development company, SCD transitioned into traffic control. At the beginning of 2015, we expanded our company by adding a Roadway Division. This Division includes the manufacturing, leasing and sales of state of the art TMA’s as well as arrow boards, message boards and traffic control signs and devices. The two divisions, Railroad and Roadway, are comprised of highly qualified people with over 100 years’ experience in the field. All of our employees are E-Verified, E-Railsafe certified and certified in the areas they primarily work. SCD has an excellent safety record that meets all requirements in the Railroad and Roadway industries. We maintain insurance in excess of industry standards and have the ability to obtain bonding, if required. Southern Commercial Development takes pride in our work and strives daily to produce quality customer service in all areas of our operation.
