Southern Union

Southern Union Company operates in the natural gas gathering, processing, transmission and distribution industries – related, yet distinct, businesses. The company owns and/or operates more than 15,000 miles of interstate natural gas pipelines serving wholesale natural gas customers in major U.S. markets, approximately 4,600 miles of gathering pipelines and also serves more than half a million natural gas end-user customers through its utility operating divisions. In addition, Southern Union Company owns and operates one of the nation’s largest liquefied natural gas import terminals. Southern Union Gas Services, with approximately 5,500 miles of pipelines, is engaged in the gathering, transmission, treating, processing and redelivery of natural gas and natural gas liquids in Texas and New Mexico.
