Southern Self Drive is an independent family-run vehicle rental business, established in 1963. Based in Portsmouth and Fareham, SSD serves Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey, operating a large fleet with over 500 cars, vans & minibuses, trucks, tippers, wheelchair-accessible and adapted vehicles. We pride ourselves on quality vehicles, maintained to high standards and excellent customer service, providing our customers with a more personal service than large independents and national rental companies. As a member of the United Rental Group, we can obtain similar buying terms as larger companies, allowing us to offer competitive rates.
