SouthUp

SouthUp Incubator, located in Sha’ar HaNegev in the southern part of Israel, is a prominent business incubator dedicated to fostering innovation and supporting early-stage startups (Seed stage - following initial proof of feasibility) in the Western Negev region. SouthUp aims to stimulate entrepreneurial activity, leveraging the unique strengths and resources of the area to create a thriving ecosystem for startups and boost economic development by supporting local entrepreneurs and attracting new businesses, thereby providing employment opportunities in the region. Since its establishment in 2017, SouthUp has incubated over 60 startups, which collectively raised over $129 million and created more than 300 tech positions in the region. SouthUp maintains two physical sites, with a third opening soon, totaling 1,100 square meters. These facilities include 26 offices and workspaces of various sizes, including communal workspaces. The spaces, averaging around 40 square meters each, are suitable for companies that require room for equipment in addition to workforce, such as 3D printers, measuring devices, and manufacturing equipment. In addition, we offer: - Access to Global Investors and Partners: Connecting startups with potential investors and strategic partners worldwide. - Increased Grant Support: An additional 25% to the Israeli Innovation Authority Grant. - Grant Management: Assistance in managing and supporting grant applications. - Regional Network: Access to a network of partners within the regional ecosystem, including Sapir College, industrial entities, and service providers. - Fundraising Assistance: Helping startups raise between $500K and $1.5 million.
