Southwest Harvard Group (SHG) was founded in 1990 by Gary Trujillo who continues to serve as President & CEO. Since the 1990s, SHG has been an active venture capital investor and asset manager, partnering with industrial companies and financial institutions across the United States to build a variety of businesses ranging from residential and commercial real estate, to telecommunications, internet services, and copper cable manufacturing. A listing of prior portfolio companies is here. In 2021, Gary’s longtime mentee, Michael Trejo, joined the firm as Partner and SHG acquired a controlling interest in Standard Printing Company. With Michael joining the team, SHG continues to focus on active private equity and venture capital investing, extending three decades of investment experience into a new era.
