Sovereign Partners is a 3rd generation, privately-held, full-service real estate investment firm based in New York. The Sakhai Family immigrated to the United States in the early 1980’s and have been investing in real estate throughout the country ever since. Founded in 2002, Sovereign’s principals have over 75 years of commercial real estate experience in the United States. The Sovereign team has comprehensive expertise in pursuing opportunities in undervalued properties and prides itself on maintaining a network of brokers, sellers, lenders and managers nationwide who keep the firm attuned to local markets and new opportunities. Sovereign is a vertically-integrated owner and operator of high-quality, multi-tenant commercial office buildings; in addition, during down markets, and most recently during the Great Recession, Sovereign found success investing in opportunistic and distressed real estate in both debt and equity positions. By being well-capitalized, Sovereign is able to take advantage of opportunities that arise in uncertain climates.
