The F1 Belgian Grand Prix was first held in 1925 and was designated the European Grand Prix six times between 1925 and 1973.
This circuit is often called « the most beautiful race track in the world » due to its position in the Ardennes Forest and is one of the most challenging circuit in the world, due to its fast and hilly nature and the famous « Eau Rouge » turn where drivers have to ride back up the 240-meter hill and absorb in only a few seconds a difference in height of 24 meters.
