We are an organization that helps individuals thrive by lowering the barriers to access and practice mental, physical and spiritual wellness with intention, inclusion and purpose.
Since our founding in 2017, spaceMVMNT has built an engaged and active community. We have established programs and curriculum around our initiatives for the mind, body and soul, which include hosting bi-weekly peer led support groups with guest speakers and panel discussions, expert led movement classes, special events, and a SOUL curriculum to educate and inspire spiritual wellness. spaceMVMNT has engaged over a dozen influencers, celebrities and cultural and community leaders as program ambassadors, who commit to engaging their own communities, sharing their stories, hosting events and promoting our work. spaceMVMNT has partnered with other nonprofit organizations and participated as guest and keynote speakers for several large events.
Our work and programs are designed for anyone interested in enhancing their personal wellness, but our focus is on engaging communities and individuals with limited access to traditional mental, physical and spiritual wellness opportunities.
Traditional mental health and wellness organizations tend to be intimidating, expensive, exclusive, and require a degree of self-awareness or a diagnosis to participate. spaceMVMNT disrupts the traditional paradigm of what wellness can and should look like for any and all individuals, by creating innovative, inclusive programs that inspire, rather than stigmatize and ignite rather than exclude.
